Meet The Author

Tanya Knight, born in Gloucestershire and now residing in Boston, Lincolnshire, is a dynamic author whose vibrant characters often reflect her own zeal for life and adventure. Before embracing her passion for storytelling, Tanya carved out a successful career in cyber security sales. However, the call of the written word proved irresistible, leading her to pursue writing full-time.

A keen sportswoman, Tanya has evented horses, competed in races ranging from 10km to ultra-marathons, and excelled as a triathlete. Her deep involvement in sports extends beyond personal achievement; she is also a dedicated volunteer, serving as a triathlon coach and parkrun Run Director. These experiences not only fuel her creativity but also infuse her writing with authenticity and vigour.

Tanya's narratives are as compelling and intricate as the paths she has run and raced. Her debut novel, "Men Are Like Buses," introduced readers to her wit and keen eye for human emotions. Her latest book, "Love and a Crocodile," continues to charm and engage, weaving humour and heartfelt moments into a tapestry of thrilling escapades and romantic dilemmas. Whether she's crafting stories or crossing finish lines, Tanya Knight celebrates the spirit of adventure that defines both her life and her novels.  She has been very sports oriented her entire life, spending over 20 years competing horses in eventing, dressage, show-jumping and team-chasing. Tanya has also sky-dived, scuba-dived, skied, bungee-jumped, wake-boarded, flown gliders, flown aircraft, rock-climbed, water-skied, parasailed and pretty much any other slightly ridiculous adventures she can find.
